A great success -- over 70 turned out for this fundraiser for Haiti!!

The days are getting longer and we should celebrate, however, we are also reminded of the devastation, the broken lives and the hopelessness experienced by the Haitian people. The money raised will go toward the ongoing relief efforts in that country for medical supplies and rebuilding operations!

This feast of prime roast beef, with all the fixin's, has traditionally been sponsored by the men of the Living Spirit Centre as a way of honouring the women in our midst! May this tradition continue!!

The men were asked to contribute in the following ways:

1. Bring your favorite dessert!! (Beg, borrow or ...purchase what you know others will enjoy!!)

2. Bring along your best apron!! (if you have some to chose from then bring your funniest or most creative!!) This will be used at our first annual Fancy Apron Fashion Show! The women will not only get a good laugh but will be able to vote for their favorite!!

3. Bring your best home-made wine! Each year we are treated to some outstanding blends. If you are not a wine-maker then plan to enjoy the efforts of others!
